In the second version (Branagh) of Hamlet it was more sinitcal and deep. The lighting was dark and they had music in the background while the actors were talking in a whisper. They made it even better by having the scene in the woods at night with fog . Its drew me in when its was so dramatic like that. The actor kenneth branagh played the part as the crazy hamlet very well.
The third version with director Almereyda , i didnt like at all. It was too modernized and it didnt have that dramatice effect that the other two had. Instead of the father looking like a ghost , he looked like a regular person. As if though he was still living and not dead like he was suppose to be. He made to much physical contact with Hamlet and if your a "ghost" your not suppose to be able to grab someones face .
The first verison with actor Mel Gibson was okay but i didnt like it that much. He was too dramatic for me and it just made it seem like he was trying to hard to connect with he's character.
